Cervical
Spinal Retractor systems are commonly used in cervical spine and
cervical distraction procedures. These procedures are performed to
relieve neck, arm, and hand pain due to herniated discs and/or bone
spurs that impact the nerves and cause compression of the spinal cord.
Surgical retractor lights, or in-cavity lighting, are additional
lights used in a surgical procedure to aid in the surgeon’s
visualization of the human anatomy. In-cavity surgical lighting is a
great way to enhance the surgeon’s field of vison as well as market the
retractor system as an all in one solution for a specific type of
surgical procedure. When our customer decided to elevate their retractor
systems to enhance the surgeon’s user experience and provide for a
safer operating condition, they approached Fiberoptic for a lighting
solution. Our engineering team was able to provide a combination of
benefits that no other surgical lighting company could match.
